Look out! Here I come world! Story for the day: true, there are endless poo stories, I think we need to spend a few more bucks on diapers with a larger holding capacity, as she seems to hold it all in for a huge drop in the afternoon, but I digress. Todays story is about projectile vomiting. I know, I am obsessed with her bodily functions, but as those are, as of yet, the majority of her functions it is all I have! I had just finished dressing her to go outside and put her in her carrier when BAM, lunch launched out of her mouth covering both of us. It is sad and funny to look at her little face after that. She usually has an expression of "oh mom, why did that just happen." Poor cutey, she is happily sleeping now though!

Not a fluke!
Apparently it wasn't a fluke! Tenna is a champion roll-overer! I am just amazed! Physically her activities are way ahead of her age. She has been able to hold up her head at a 45 degree angle since 2.5 weeks. She is able to push herself up with her legs pretty well. I am convinced she will be an amazing athlete, though who knows about her cognitive development ;)

Daddy's hairline?
I don't know, but it seems like she is going bald. No, I don't polish her head, I don't know why it is shining like that! Tenna slept very well last night. In fact I would call it a mile stone. I put her down just after 11pm and she didn't wake up again until 5:45am! Good girl!
In other news...our friend Kyle just got back from Afganistan yesterday and we were so excited to be able to see him and his wife again! He relayed something that an Afgani said to him, that I think is a great summary of what is going on there...I will try to remember it;
The Russians came and they brought death and devistation, the Taliban came and they brought death and devistation, the Americans came and they brought jobs and rain!
Apparently the precipitation has been quite favorable in Afganistan since the US forces have been there. We are proud of those guys. Welcome home Kyle!

The pooper
Yesterday was Tennas 1 month birthday and blessing day. This is her in her little onsie playing before the day started. That onsie is now soaking in a bucket due to the major poo explosion she had in the evening. It was actually a pretty funny day as far as her bodily functions go.
She was very peaceful and cooing durring her blessing. The bishop even commented on how she just gazed at her daddy while he was giving the blessing, but then the trouble began...
As the sacrament was being passed Tenna began to fuss, then right as the young man brought the water to us she let out a huge( meaning in sound and volume) squirty poop! Needless to say, I took her to the bathroom for a quick clean up. To my suprise I could not find a changing table anywhere, so I changed her on the counter. Then she started acting hungry, so I headed back to what I thought would be the mothers nursing room. This ended up being a handicap bathroom, so I went in search of the nursing room. This is an LDS chapel after all, there must be a nursing room right. Well, after one tour with an increasingly frantic baby I just decided to suck it up and nurse her in the handicap bathroom. Since this bathroom had no lock on the door i was forced to lean against the door and try to feed her. I am a very skilled person (ha) so this worked out all right, the trouble came when the eating was done. I wasn't quite quick enough o catch the massive spit up she let lose all over my shirt (which was white mind you). So I had to drape the baby and blankets over myself so as not to be scandelous. She then slept peacefully.
The next explosion came without warning, and when daddy tried to pick her up he discovered the large puddle of poo in her rocker chair. Haha, the joys of parenthood!
