Love/hate relationship

Velcro...what an amazing invention! However, I have somehow busted two sewing machines just trying to attach it! No, really busted them, I need to adjust the timing or something now, and I am not that tallented! Sometimes I am amazed at how much a mom can put up with from kids etc, but then...the sewing machine....I was ready to throw it across the room! Le sigh. I guess I better just suck it up and admit that sewing machines are subject to my ability to break things, and forgive them.

Zions National Park

This weekend we had a lovely little trip to Zions. I am such a bum, we didn't get any pictures of Tenna! She loved eating dirt and rocks, as well as exploring the world from daddy's shoulders!
Gma and Gpa tended while a bunch of us did a bigger hike, Angels Landing (see picture). It is 2.5 miles up and 1488feet elevation gain. I think we all did really well, and it was sure worth the view! We didn't dare take Tenna, there are some interesting and challenging parts (even without a babypack). It will be cool to tell #2 that she has been to the top of angels landing though!
We had great time in the tent all cuddled together. I would make one request though "turn off the wind at night, it wakes up my baby!" Ok I am better now. Posted by Picasa

Tenna meets the sheep...again

Tenna met the sheep for the first time last week and she LOVES them. It is lambing season so Grandpa took her out to meet some babies. She was sqeeling an smiling, she just loves animals. Plus, this weekend there were chicks in the house so the babies got to meet baby chickens! Tenna wouldn't leave the box alone. With the dog and the kitten Tenna's visit was a wonderful adventure! Posted by Picasa

This is a good follow up pic, plus I think Tenna's hair is way cute in this picture ;) Posted by Picasa

Flip-flop backpack

Tenna decided she loves aunt Leanna's flip-flop pillow. She started toting it around on her arm like a purse, so I helped her to put it on like a backpack. She decide that was great and went to explore. The problem came when she would try to drop things in it...duh, they wouldn't stay with her! Posted by Picasa
