The girls just love to play together (sometimes) now. I am so glad that they get along. They are both so good at pretending. A new favorite is to be puppies and have mommy throw "treats" from her pocket for the puppies to catch in their mouths.
The girls and I just got back from a visit to Las Vegas to see Sarah and Gracie. While we were there we went to the Spring(something) preserve. It was interesting, though maybe a bit too old for the kids in saome respects. When you enter you go through a "canyon," with caves and animal noises, etc. Tenna decided the cayote call was her favorite and continues to use it at random intervals. Gave a few old folks the chuckles.
They had a lot of exhibits concerning water (being in the desert and all). Andi enjoyed the granite fountains that turned from the water moving in them. I thought it was so neat that so much was accessable to touch!
Tenna and Gracie don't quite have the stick-to-it-ive-ness to be archeaologists.
The little play area had a train, build-a-birds-nest, sand bed, turtle spinners, and of course a water trough. This was the favorite part of the preserve.
Tenna and water....that kid loves to "make dishes."
Andi is a bit of a starter. She was laying down in the sand bouncing her booty, and there is bound to be another kid who will follow! I don't think her mom thought it was so funny that her 3 year old was doing it though, oh well.
Now, I like this picture because I think Tenna is very cute, but also. can you see what is going on with the kids behind her? ;)
