Random stuff

Zoo time and WWF toddler style. It has been a fun week, can you tell? The girls new thing is to strip Andi's crib down (even remove the memory foam, yes our kids are spoiled)and use it as a trampoline/ultimate fighting ring. Ahhh I love youth!

A few things I love about summer...

Mischief and Nasty faces

This week has been one to remind me that Andi really is a toddler and is turning two very soon. She has become so much more mischevious. She also kills me with the faces she pulls. For such a cute kid she can pull a major raunch mug.

Maybe three year olds aren't all that bad...

I know that I have sometimes complained that Three is a much harder age than Two was, well this conversation made me think twice...

Andi: Mama, I scared, monsters! Monsters!
Tenna: It's ok, don't be scared, Jesus is here. You're safe, Jesus is here.

Tenna repeated this mantra for a few minutes and calmed Andi down without my intervention. I later heard her singing to Andi when she began to fuss again. I think those are the moment that mothers are given to show them that some of the good things we do really do sink in, and they know that they are loved.

The Hat

Yesm Andi really does love to accesorize herself. I made this hat a year ago for Sarah-B, but I don't think she will ever be able to have it. Andi wears it out at least once a week. She just makes me giggle, who knew I would have such a girly girl!

Beautiful healthy girls

I am so grateful for my strong healthy girls. They love playing in the sunshine! I am also grateful that I am strong and healthy enough to keep up with them (as much as anyone can with toddlers that is). That said...I want to direct everyone to the top link on the sidebar. Albert and I have signed up to ride the MS150 in Logan, and we need sponsors to help us get there. I hate to be pushy, so I don't want to send out mass e-mails, but if you are inclined to help please do. It is for a great cause, and it's tax deductable!
