Family fun and fotography!

We went down to Lyman a few weekends ago to play and wish Leanna good luck on her mission. Family get togethers always make for good pics when you have a photographer in the family! Thanks Sarah!

Sorry I don't yet have all of the kids Halloween costume pictures, but I do have Andi from her pre-school party. I coudln't find a Repunzel wig so we made one. Of course when I finished it she wouldn't even try it on. Luckily we are good negotiators and we decided it would be ok as long I braided it, problem solved. I think I may wear it when she goes to bed so I can be the "Janis Joplin," muppet character!

Lee, is just cute Lee. He loves to growl like a dino! He is picking up all sorts of words now his favorites being; apple, ball, dino, airplane, doggy and cookie!


Tenna is doing very well in school. We had our first conference and the report was glowing! She is learning so much and I love to see how much of who she is comes out at school. This particular drawing is from home craft time...she made an "African Paint Horse." She got some horse breed cards for her Birthday and has been studying the different breeds...I think that one could just call this a giraffe, but no, she insists it is an AFRICAN paint horse.

Raspberry time!

The kids have really enjoyed walking through the raspberries and grape for a little snack. We planted some everbearing plants last year and they have done pretty well this year. The dog has helped the drip line to become a little drippier, he has also supplied some mud holes, so the garden is a great place to play after I water the berries!

Andi's first day of preschool!

My little biddle is in preschool! I asked her how she felt about it and she said "just excited." She is really looking forward to play time, dressing up and playing with the baby dolls. So here I am blogging with my free time!
We had back to school night last night and it really started to sink in that my kids are going to be spending time away from home, having their own experiences without me there. It is a little sad to see them growing up so fast. We also had to have a little talk about chilling out on hugging. Tenna is a hugger!

Yes, Tenna is having so much fun in school! She is in love with the PE coach, and thinks he is "sooo handsom." I guess every silver lining has a cloud? ;) Andi, Lee and I have enjoyed some quiet time before Andi starts preschool next week. I feel way too young to have kids this old!

Andi's first dance class!

I have used a dance class for all sorts of bribery and it is finally time to pay up! She was a little nervous at first, but her teacher was great and Andi was having a blast in no time. She was showing me a plie and was filled with fun stories. She was just a little disappointed that she didn't get to wear her ballet slippers.

Want a vegetarian dog?

That's right! You could have the handsome dog, FREE! He loves all vegetables and fruits, particularly fresh from the garden. If you are an avid gardener then this is the dog for you! He loves to dig, and chew plants, helping you with your pruining. Any unwanted crops? He will fix that. Take him now before I lose it and go postal on him!

Bonding with the Boy

The girls are down on the Farm playing with Gma and Gpa and fun aunts and uncles, so Mr. Lee is bonding with us here. It was time to harvest potatoes today so he had to get in the garden too. He will eat just about anything, so he enjoyed his purple bean (though he had to protect it from out odd vegetarian dog). He loves to be outside and be dirty and play with the dog....my little man!

Back in Business

Trying my new computer out with posting! We went to a very fun party today for Tenna's BFF's birthday. Water fights, fishing, face painting, need I say more?

'bout sums it up

 

This face tells you the story of our lives the past few months. Endless ear infections (tubes March 5) Couped up inside, and wishing daddy was done with school! Mr. man is not sleeping in the computer room tonight, so I figured I could throw a picture up and give an update. Because he has been so sick he is no longer off the charts. At 9 months he is 20 lbs, so only 40% fo weight and about 75% for height. I can't wait for him to be healthy again. I have a new understanding of ear infections, and sleep deprivation. ;)
The girls are both growing. Tenna has developed a new tallent for drawing. It is so fun to see what she comes up with. Andi is 3, need I say more. Mind you, it is still Andi at 3, so it is pretty tame as far as 3 goes. Lee is cruising and loves to pull himeself up on eveerything, particularly if it is to reach Andi and bug her, or take food.
Al is working way hard, and is almost done with classes! Yeah! Soon it will start the year of rotations, then BOOM! You can just guess how excited we are.

Here's a little anecdote for you...
Lee and Tenna are best bud. Lee and Andi are siblings. Lee loves to get all up in Andi's business and she just doesn't know how to handle him. Today he pulled himself up to standing on the couch just so he could try to pull her necklaces off of her. Ah kids!

Excuses, excuses, but this one is bit funny...

and a bit sad.
I do have Christmas pictures, but I also have a sick kiddo. He just started round three of antibiotics for ear infections. He had a rough night last night. I got home late from young women's last night to a fussy guy. He ate and napped for about 15 minutes. He woke up sad and stuffy, then promptly projectile vomited on my and the entire keyboard of the computer. Yeah, it's had a good run, 6 years is a long time for a computer, I think we will just replace the keyboard, it's not like you can just throw it in the washer. So forgive me, but there will be no pics for a while!
