Tenna enjoyed her clam linguine so much that she HAD to share it with her baby! Needless to say, when she wanted me to kiss the baby later we decided baby needed a bath ;)
We had another decent night last night, so it was time to bake! Andi does seem to like the sling. She slept through a very long trip to Lowes on Saturday. I have had several people ask me where they can get a sling like this...I think I should go into business ;) It's fun for me to cuddle her, and Tenna enjoys her chance to be a big girl too!
Now we know that Tenna would make it out in the wild. Well, maybe not, she does like to eat a lot of rocks. Anywho, she really liked this bread, so I couldn't help but get this pic! She is also pretty thrashed at the end of the day, so I figured that the crazy hair and dirty clothes would add to the effect. Our little rag-a-muffin, has to eat what she can get ;)
Yes, I intentionally chose pictures in which my children look drunk to emphasize the humor behind this statement. Don't get me wrong, I DO think my kids are the cutest, but I had to laugh at myself at how competitive I am about it some times. I found myself comparing my kids with my mom's kids and thinking "gosh, mine are way cuter and smarter." This is a bit odd since I AM one of those kids. Just thought I would share my little insanity. I guess I probably need more sleep!
Introducing Andilyn! Andilyn was born on August 24th, 2006! She was 6lbs 15ozs and 20 inches long. She suprised us all a little bit. We checked into the hospital, and I was only dialated to a five, so we thought we had plenty of time. About an hour later as I was relaxing in the tub I realized that she was coming NOW! Albert tried to ring the nurse, but no one had plugged out call button in, so he ran out to the hall and called for help. He ran back in just in time to see her head! The midwife barely made it back in to officially "catch" and we had a beautiful baby girl! It is so fun seeing how she and Tenna are the same and different.
Tennna has a new game, she likes to dump out her baggie of cereal and eat it off the floor. Today daddy and I were working on a picture book for her and she decided it was time to play the game. Well, she dumped out her cereal then left for the kitchen. I called her back and told her it was time to clean up. Lo and behold she came back with the broom and dustpan! Maybe we really will be able to start doing chorse in a few months (haha, dream on)!
June Cleaver wore pretty shoes while she cleaned, I am off to a good start! Gramma visited this weekend and brought Tenna three new pairs of shoes! No one can tell me that shoe fettish isn't a gender thing because she was very specific about which shoes she wanted to where and when. Even before anything else was done, she had to have pretty shoes on!
