Daddy's little angel

I had to post thig picture because Albert said so!
I was showing Albert my pictures for the day and he decided that this one is just the definition of Andi. Contemplative and lovely, with a smile lurking somewhere behind her eyes.
He also said she looks like a boy, but I think that is just the hair style. ;) 

Crochet fun!

Well this was supposed to be a Christmas present for Andi, but she was always so mesmerized when I was making it with her in my lap, that I couldn't wait! This little mobile has been a lot of fun for Andi. She really likes the rainbow stars! She was having an especially good time this morning, and with the little mowhawk I just couldn't resist a photo session!

This is a picture of Tenna that I just love. She is a little younger in here than Andi is now.

Andi likes this chair even more than her sister did! Well, maybe she is just more mellow and content in general. She can sit in there for a half an hour if she is in the mood! 

Not the happiest campers

Just thought this was cute. Grandma bought the girls matching PJ's, though neither one of them was feeling terribly photogenic before bed time. 

Feeding her baby

Tenna enjoyed her clam linguine so much that she HAD to share it with her baby! Needless to say, when she wanted me to kiss the baby later we decided baby needed a bath ;) 

Meow!

Andi was a little kitty, and enjoyed her warm costume, but Tenna LOVED trick-or-treating! By the end of the night she was dancing around jabbering to herself and saying "mmmm" every few words or so!

Sling fun

We had another decent night last night, so it was time to bake! Andi does seem to like the sling. She slept through a very long trip to Lowes on Saturday. I have had several people ask me where they can get a sling like this...I think I should go into business ;) It's fun for me to cuddle her, and Tenna enjoys her chance to be a big girl too! 

Matching mommy

Like all todlers, Tenna likes to do adult things. She had to have her sling on and "cook," something while Andi and I made bread. She is already a multitasker too, notice the juice. 

...and yes, she does enjoy cooking! Couldn't resist putting up a pic with such good dimples! 

Fending for herself

Now we know that Tenna would make it out in the wild. Well, maybe not, she does like to eat a lot of rocks. Anywho, she really liked this bread, so I couldn't help but get this pic! She is also pretty thrashed at the end of the day, so I figured that the crazy hair and dirty clothes would add to the effect. Our little rag-a-muffin, has to eat what she can get ;) 

 

Our hulk

Well the two week (really 2.5 week) check up went great! The Dr could hardly believe that she has gained over a pound since birth! She is healthy and strong...now if we could just get her to switch night and day... 

My kid is cuter than yours

Yes, I intentionally chose pictures in which my children look drunk to emphasize the humor behind this statement. Don't get me wrong, I DO think my kids are the cutest, but I had to laugh at myself at how competitive I am about it some times. I found myself comparing my kids with my mom's kids and thinking "gosh, mine are way cuter and smarter." This is a bit odd since I AM one of those kids. Just thought I would share my little insanity. I guess I probably need more sleep! 

Japanese fun in a bath!

Gracie and Sarah stayed with us and helped us pre-Andi (and post) so the girls had some good play time. Here they are playing with some Japanese bath crayons...little did we know they draw better on skin than the tub!
