I'm so crafty...
I make people! Oh, and cookies and dinners and toys. It has been a busy few weeks. Between Primary parties, YW in excellence, gift and of course sickness we have just about made it to Christmas.
And I would like to say that contrary to prior evidence, we can, in fact, make male offspring! That's right we have a mancub on the way! I pretty much felt it all along, but it sure is nice to have the u/s and see for yourself!

Ummm bath time?
I am pretty far behind on my "neighbor gifts," this year. I was digging through my food storage for some items when Tenna notice the baby tub hiding in the closet. After dinner Tenna and I were starting some waffle cookies when Andi called her away. I can into the room to find them like this! My girls are so good at keeping busy. The best part? They wouldn't let me take them out until we had "washes," and I got them out with "towels." Oh, I forgot, it's 65 degrees in the house.

Music=my personal acid flashback
Have you ever noticed that a particular smell or texture or lighting, etc causes you to have a deep and sharp memory? I experience this sometimes, though not as much recently. I tend to listen to audio books as I clean and do various tasks after the kids are in bed. I love it, and it really keeps me sane. Tonight, however, I am sans audio book (just finished "Manhunt," about the Lincoln assassination, very good!). I decided to listen to MUSIC. Oh my goodness!
I realize now that I have been avoiding music. It gives me such strong recollections of the past that they are often painful. Great times and sad times from my past that I miss. It makes me think of a line from the musical Pippin "time weaves ribbons of memories to sweeten life when youth is through." So, does this mean I am getting old? I hope my logic is flawed!

Girls night
We had a bit of a long week and needed some rejeuvenation. The girls and I decided to get beautiful. Andi would only allow me to do an oil hair treatment, and Tenna would only allow me to do a "master tigress," mask. Oh well. We did a nice avacado mask, it seems to have helped Tenna's poor chapped cheeks. Sorry no self-portraits!

Thanksgiving/early Christmas
We had a great time with the Noyes clan this weekend. Aunt Sarah, as always, was very prepared for little girls and had princess bags with little goodies for all of them. I, on the other hand, brought lots of toys to fight over. Silly me. Three copies, come on Pam!
The food was awsome. I had a GREAT birthday. Lots of playing inside and out. It was pretty much just a god time.
We also celebrated an early Christmas. Grandma is so creative. The girls LOVE the dresses she made for them. Tenna is wearing it right now as she sleeps. And their plates...I should just get rid of everything else! They had a great time. Plus, Sarah got some video of Andi singing two songs all the way through, maybe I will get a copy to post!

The haircut
Tenna loves having long hair, "like Barbie." Unfortunately she got a hold of my scissors yesterday while I was in the potty helping Andi. She cut a few chunks from the front, so I decided we needed to fix it.
So we cut her beautiful hair. I was cleaning up and FOOLISHLY left the scissors within her grasp! I was silly enough to think she was actually watching the movie. She is totally going to work for the CIA, she is so attentive.
So NOW, she has bangs, and a strange gap on the side of her head that I don't know WHAT to do with. Do I take her to a real salon and get her hair layered? Do I ignore the gap? What do you think?

Too yucky outside
Tenna asked me today if this is winter time...pretty close. It's been a while since we have had to bust out the big inside fun time toys. The girls were pretty stoked on the tent. I guess there are some good things about the cold weather, I just forgot how much clothes we all ahve to wear to keep warm in the house.

Evening tag post
Thanks Queens Scarlet for tagging me. I have needed some motivation to post recently and this one was fun. My sink. Yum. If you could only see the disgusting things I have had to deal with in that sink earlier in the day, sigh. Thanks mom for always helping me with my dishes. Are you amazed that I have only a few things in it after so many days have passed since your last visit?
My favorite room. I love our dining room. I wish we didn't have the piano in it, and of course, that it was clean. I had to be honest and take pics in the natural state of things.

My closet/craft room/ storage shed. Sigh. Good thing I am such a slob so all I ever wear is sweats! J/kish.
My fridge, again, slob. I am such a pack rat. At least I have started an art file for the girls. That's decreases the clutter a bit.
Laundry room/ food storage/ peepee clothes dump. Some day I will have shelves just for laundry stuff. I will have no old paint/food storage/ water storage in my functional laundry room! Some day!
Favorite shoes. Well right now. I am cold all the time. I even wore these for a nap yesterday. I know, so sexy huh?

So this is not out "working bathroom," but it is our Master Bath. It will likely remain in roughly this state for a while. I love pharmacy school!
It is 9pm and Tenna is not sleeping. She has a cough, poor girl. And I would like to qualify that I just got her sheets out of the dryer from the latest incident, so no my kids don't live in THAT much squalor, they do have bedding!
Andi, sleep monster. She has so turned into a 2 year old. She is taking some time for a monster re-charge.
And bumper is doing whatever feti do on the cusp of the second trimester. Oh, and making me feel fat. BTW this counts as the picture of me too.
Dream vacay, no pics....I think a cruise to Alaska. Albert gets to fish. He catches me a lot of salmon. The girls and I hike with Grandma's to see lots of animals. Ahhhh.
Oh and I choose to tag....
Amy (because I know your spotless house will put me to shame)

Cheers!
