Preparation

Thank you great grandma Dadds for the egg kit...yes the one you gave us last year. I forgot how the color tables fizzle, the girls loved that. Andi is not super gentle so most of the eggs where cracked by the end, but there were tons of giggles involved, so it's ok. We are ready for Easter.
Tenna and Daddy went to the city Easter Egg hunt/breakfast today, put on by the Firefighters. Tenna now knows that the firemen help people and give her presents! They brought Santa around (the last time she saw them) and chucked candy at us, and now this! Firemen are the best!
Albert had a good story from the hunt too. They separated the kids into age groups so Tenna was one of the younger ones in hers (3-4). She started out with another little one in the same situation, so they apparently decided to head out together and go to a less crowded area. The horn blew and they were off ("too loud" Tenna told me). Tenna and her friend each grabbed a stuffed animal for themselves, Tenna got a cow. She thought this was the whole goal and headed back to dad quite happy! One if the firemen saw that she was passing by some eggs so he pointed them out to her. Well, if a fireman tells you to do something you pay attention! She chucked that cow as hard as she could behind her and got an egg. Apparently several people thought this was very funny, including the fireman. He picked up her cow and made sure she had it AND an egg when she got back to daddy. Silly girl.
She has also developed a habbit of needing more things to sleep with. I decided two stick horses, three ponies, a lamby, and her new cow were just too many things to keep track of and round up for bed time, so I told her she could choose two things. This went ok at first...she chose cow and a stick horse (no lamb, I know, can't believe it). Well she decided we needed to discuss this further. She opened her door and called me in. She said "miss lamby....need four (holding upp four fingers)things, ok?" So I look on her bed, and sure enough, four things. How do I say no when she is proving that she actually pays attention when I teach her things? I say "that's allright, four things." She then contentedly scampers into bed(for about 3 minutes).
