Things city kids miss...
I was chatting with Leanna this week about her college experience, and it came up that she has some very "city kid," roommates. One makes me think of myself, or my upbringing, I dunno. She eats garbonzo bean pancakes and cookie dough, the end. I just laughed. I had never tasted a breakfast casserole and I thought dutch oven cooking must be done by those with Dutch ancestory. Being married to a farm boy from Utah has opened my eyes to all sorts of culenary delights. Case in point: sausage "biscutz" and gravy. Me likey. Andi likes them too, but she still has a bit of the city kid in her. She ate her steamed broccoli first. ;)

oh pam i really never knew you didn't know what dutch oven cooking was, that is funny!! How lucky that Andi will even eat her broccoli and even better that she eats it first! such a good girl!
give them both loves from me!
I love bisquets and gravy - I think I will make some now!
I never realized I was a city kid until now...
i love me some dutch oven cooking!!
Ya Pam that roommate i was telling you about would DIE if i told her about dutch oven cooking! She probably wouldn't even believe that people would eat something "so unhealthy" like that
