The new face

Tenna likes to stick out her tongue now whenever she has to eat something she doesn't like. Oddly enough, she doesn't like goldfish, but she likes to put them in her mouth and spit them out. Hey, whatever floats yer boat!

So I am posting this pic because is shows my beautiful family, and to show off one of the presents I made. That stuff in the frame...yeah....I had no idea that matting was so hard. But I got to do some fun embroidery to put in the project so it's all good. I am such a nerd.
Plus Tenna is our real work of art. (yes, yes I am cheezy)

Nicole took this picture of Tenna on the floor on Christmas day. I think the lighting makes her look so angelic! I sometimes wonder if she is really ours, heavens knows we aren't that good looking! ;) 

The best part of Christmas...

...the babies! It was so fun to see them together. Tenna was a bit sick, so she couldn't handle too much, but they are both so cute! Can you tell there are a ton of toys around?

Tenna is really enjoying her new dimension of exploration. We lowered er crib last night after she scared me to death be meeting me face to face when I opened her bedroom door! She is growing too fast!

I am up, and happy! Now I can get to so many things my mom hides in plastic boxes!

Getting in the Christmas mood...

I think Tenna wants to be one of Santa's elves this year. She positioned the hat all on her own. She is a little too cute to call her yoda, so elf it is! 

Why did I buy her actual toys?

Has anyone else ever wondered about that? The only toy she really likes any more is her rubber duckie...other than that she jsut wants spoons, pots, books, etc. I don't blame her, though I can't say that these would taste any better than her toys.
I am starting to think that having a baby is like having a puppy. She eats off the floor. Everything that falls on the floor is automatically hers. She always wants to attack the birds, and she is certainly not "house broken." Did I mention that she always tries to eat the furniture?

Tenna is moving around pretty well with the commando crawl. She chases me around whenever I have the camera. Or to eat our toes. Or to bite my cheeks! Isn't this just the perfect attack face? 

Baby Yoga

She doesn't crawl yet, but she can do upward facing dog. She can even lift one leg at a time! Pretty impressive huh? Plus, that goofy Ohler side smile...yep she's my baby too! 

I just wanted to say thank you to all of my family and friends that wrote me letters, e-mails, called and celebrated with me on my birthday! I had so much fun! (I was in Lyman, so we couldn't answer our phone!) I am one lucky girl!

Wow! It's outfits like these that remind me that Tenna is our little princess. Recently it has occured to me that I haven't always recognized that Tenna is a little person. She is growing so fast and gaining so much personality that I am so excited to see who she really is! It really is amazing how life work, I am so grateful for what Tenna teaches me!
