Timid Tenna

We finally blew up the pool that GG Dadds got us, so it was time to play. Tenna wasn't so sure about getting in there, but the water seemed like a fun idea.

A little motivation

I finally convinced Tenna the water was ok, but she still wasn't about to sit down in it!

Fun in the pool

Andi has no qualms about the water, and sat in it shivering and splashing until mommy finally made her get out!

New Swing Set!

Grandpa came this week and set up this great swing set for Tenna and Andi. I love it because it keeps her in the backyar while I work on the garden (or the awful yard, please don't look at our sad grass). Tenna loves the slide and Andi loves the swing!

Riding the "ooorshe"

Great-grandma Dadds heard that Tenna loves to ride the horse at Wal-mart, so she gave us a whole roll of quarters! She LOVES it, and is always willing to behave in the store if she knows she gets to ride the horse at the end. She was pretty tired this day, so you can't quite see the excitement, but it's there...just under a deep layer of fatigue.

Making Cake

Tenna helped me make pound cake today. I wish this picture could show the cake batter in her hair a little better. I let her lick the bowl, so she had to stick her head in it to get all the batter. Oh hehehe I am a bad mom!

Goodbye old friend

Well, the stroller had to go to a new home today. We bought a used double jogging stroller last week so we had to sell this one to recoup the cost. Tenna was sad, but she got to say goodbye.

I'm making trouble!

This is a great example of Andi's scrunch face. This is when she usually starts to snort while she laughs!

Finally

I bought the materials to make these blinds when we moved into the house...so it's about time I actually finished them. I think they are great in the girls room, and I am a bit more motivated to make some for our room now.

Scandelous Andi

Andi was pretty pleased with herself when she woke up from her nap (as usual), but this time she had something to show for it. I don't know how she ended up with this fashion statement, but it was pretty cute! I still giggle when I see her crazy cow lick!

First attempt

My first loaf of sourdough bread. It was good, but not very sour. Going to try a different recipe when my start is ready again in a day or two.

My precious one!

My grandma Dadds sent us some matching dresses, and I couldn't resist having them wear them this Easter! Thank you grandma, they are adorable! Happy Easter everyone!

A typical baby photo

This was only made possible by a lot of silliness by mommy in the background!

Am I kissable?

My friend Sarah-beth and I used to say that being back-lit at sunset was the most kissable view of a girl. I would have to agree, I am just glad Tenna is too young for all of that!

New found mobility

Andi may not be able to sit or crawl but she can get around. She discovered the curtains today. What fun!

Quite pleased...

with herself! Tenna has discovered how to climb onto her dresser. I guess I can't store the little "out of reach" toys up there anymore...hmmmm

Birdies

Now that it's a bit warmer there are a ton of birds in our back yard. the garden plot is especially well visited as it is freshly tilled and has lots of decaying food compost and worms! Tenna loves her view. Now I just need to finish sewing her blinds so we can pull them up to look out!
