Tennna has a new game, she likes to dump out her baggie of cereal and eat it off the floor. Today daddy and I were working on a picture book for her and she decided it was time to play the game. Well, she dumped out her cereal then left for the kitchen. I called her back and told her it was time to clean up. Lo and behold she came back with the broom and dustpan! Maybe we really will be able to start doing chorse in a few months (haha, dream on)! 
And you wonder why we don't let daddy do her hair very much! Actually this isn't as cool looking as the first time he got this band on her head, but it gives you the idea. Funny, she won't leave clips or rubber bands in when I do her hair, but if daddy does it...that's a different story!
This one is for you Stephanie P! I loved the little fruit baby pic, so I had to put up our reply! I am glad that she is enjoying the fruits of the season, though it does mean I never get to finish a piece of fruit unless she is sleeping!
I think this face must be what Tenna sees on me every morning when I wake up, so it is natural that she pulls it sometimes!
June Cleaver wore pretty shoes while she cleaned, I am off to a good start! Gramma visited this weekend and brought Tenna three new pairs of shoes! No one can tell me that shoe fettish isn't a gender thing because she was very specific about which shoes she wanted to where and when. Even before anything else was done, she had to have pretty shoes on!
Tenna and I spent a few days in Lyman, and while there my mother-in-law and I started on a project! We started off with the idea to make an outfit for Tenna, but found we had enough extra to throw something together for Andi as well! After many initial mishaps we decided next time to just buy a pattern, but I thought I would post a picture because they did turn out pretty cute! Tenna's probably won't fit by the time Andi gets here, but that just means I have more projects!
Tenna was really on one tonight at dinner! She may not have been too into eating, but she sure was making some good faces. This is sure a fun age to be! I can't believe that she is 15 months old already! My little squishy blob is turning into a little girl right before my eyes. I am very glad that she can be silly, and that she doesn't mind me joining in!
And people wonder why I can never get the dishes done, even with a dishwasher! I unload the dishes, then I have to unload the toys, Mary Poppins DVD and baby before I can even begin to reload. The baby, however, is on auto reload mode, so it pretty much has to wait for her nap.
Well I have an excuse, we were in Boston! What better way to celebrate memorial day? We were able to visit the gravesites, homes and hangouts of many of the Revolutionary greats, as well as some post-revolutionary sites (ie. "Old Iron Sides").
A trip to Boston would not be complete for Albert and I if we didn't go see the USS Constitution. My mom graciously guided us around the historic sites, first fulfilling our request! I won't post too many pics, but this is the day that I have pictures from, so here goes.
Well this pic is more of Tenna and Albert than the boat, but that is ok. You can see how short the decks were. The average male back then was between 5'6" and 5'8", so Al was a bit above the cut. He got a good workout lunging through the lower decks trying to keep Tenna's head from bonking! Did I mention yet that this was a really good daddy/daughter vacation?
