I chose these two pictures because they seem to epitomize my days for the past little while....everything starts out fresh. Sweet smells fill the air and each moment is pregnant with expectation for great results. Then life happens and by the end of it all there is a strange odor and brown stuff to clean up. Ok, so slightly burnt cinnamon rolls aren't an exact parallel for potty training, but it works, and they are the result of it!
I am glad that I never really grew out of the "potty-humor," stage. I think it helps me cope much more. I am beginning to see the progression of potty reality that has slowly been sneaking up on me. It all began while I was pregnant with Tenna and the lady upstairs came down to borrow bleach as her three-year-old son had pooped in the tub....again. If I had only known! Well, ok, I know I would have still had the kids, and I do still want more, however, I think potty training boot camp would be highly marketable.

Hear, hear!
And... a little giggle for you... last night Ry was bathing the girls and I had already put Melia to bed... when I was about to get Kalea out of the tub a piece of poop floated by and Ry was not pleased... I had to laugh... Kalea has a history of doing this to him. So into the shower they go. ;-) In her defense... (because it wasn't me in the tub) she was kind of constipated all day... heheheh
hahah yeah, Andi pooped in the tub a few days ago....the girls were being very goofy..puppies licking the water. Suddenly I see little poopies floating around, I scream in horror and RIP Andilyn from the water shouting "get them out, there's poop in the tub!" Meanwhile Albert is staring dumbly at the tile on the wall, holding the towel out. I turn to him and not-too-politely say "GET Tenna OUT!" Then of course the poop clogged the drain, etc, etc...the tub-o-doodle is not a good invention.
ha ha, i am laughing so hard right now pam i can't even tell you how i love that story!! i can just see albert standing there holding the towel feeling so proud of his helpfulness. :) hee hee albert you are cute, i am so wondering right now once again why i am starting all of this over again!??! we are finally potty trained and so many other things "trained" and now here i am starting the whole process over, why do we do this to ourselves. this kid better be cute thats all i can say! :) just kidding i am not that raunchy. :) (right now anyway) :)
hey can you send me the recipe for the cinnamon rolls? How is the potty doing these days? If only they knew what they all put us through. Lets totally start potty camp!
ok, I will make some cinnamon rolls after that ---first picture- but knowing that mine might turn out more like the second pictures. they just need frosting, lots of frosting...yum
